Rise Trio take you to an earlier, innocent era from which the sunny sounds of the 60s emerge. The band, based in Liverpool, is made up of Mickey on vocals, keys and cajon, Pip on vocals and flute, Hedi on guitar, and Bevil pens our lyrics. With their collection of uniquely arranged originals, polished close harmonies and acoustic arrangements of familiar favourites, Rise has impressed, captivating audiences across London and Liverpool. Their thoughtfully crafted melodies play above a purposeful and vibrant groove. Their songs evince a profound connection between music and words and paint intense and exotic tales, sometimes inspired by folklore and history, other times emerging from the music itself.
