Calling all witches and wizards! Join us for a Harry Potter-inspired day of magical creatures, ancient magic, Herbology and much more.
Create spell books and wands in our Great Hall. Then meet university scientists and uncover the science behind the spells. Discover more about magical toadstools, ancient spells, make objects disappear using VR, create light-up wands and pot your own plant just like Professor Sprout! There will even be live creatures to meet and handle.
We encourage you to come dressed as your favourite witch or wizard as there will be photo opportunities with our life-sized Harry Potter cut-outs. Some robes will also be available to borrow for photos.
No booking required. Most suitable for ages 5-12 but all welcome.
Everyone is welcome at the event regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race or disability.
