Accessible Parking Guide

Here's everything you need to know accessible car parking for blue badge holders at the Victoria Gallery and Museum.

If you are a Blue Badge Holder and are visiting the Victoria Gallery & Museum, you can use any accessible bay in any University Staff or Visitor Car Park. Please see the University of Liverpool Campus Map to locate all car parks.

The closest accessible bays to us are located in the Engineering Car Park to the rear of the VGM Building. Below is a step by step guide to locating these spaces.

Starting at the VGM entrance head down Brownlow Hill towards the City Centre.

Take the next available right turn into Great Newton Street.

Starting on Brownlow Hill head downhill towards town

The access barriers to the car park are the first right turn.

Turn on to Great Newton Street

There is a call button on the barrier. Press this and tell the attendant you are visiting the Victoria Gallery and Museum and require use of an accessible bay. You will have to ensure your Blue Badge is visible and they will let you through.

Drive ahead and turn left.

Access the parking barrier and press the buzzer

Turn right and the accessible bays are the last three bays on the right-hand side.

Drive to the end of the street and then take your first left and then first right

When out of the car, make your way over the quadrangle to the archway in the top left-hand corner.
