Christmas Closures 2024 -

The VG&M will close from 5pm on Friday 20 December and re-open on Thursday 2 January 2025.
The Waterhouse Cafe will close after breakfast service on the 20th December.

Admission

Admission to all galleries, exhibitions and most activities is free.

Museum, 2nd Floor - Closed

The Museum including the Dental and Heritage Displays are not currently on display. The Museum is closed for roof repairs.

Galleries, 1st Floor - Opening Times

Tuesday to Saturday 10am - 5pm

Last entry to the galleries is 4.30pm 

VG&M Shop

The VG&M shop is open Monday - Saturday 9am - 4pm. 

The shop can only takes card payments as the Univeristy of Liverpool is a cashless campus.  

Waterhouse Café

Please visit the Waterhouse Café page for their opening hours and cafe closure dates. 

Safety and comfort of guests

For the safety and comfort of our guests, all backpacks and bags are subject to inspection prior to entry. Guests with large bags will be asked to leave them in our designated cloakroom. Lockers are available free of charge.
