Waterhouse Café: Open Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm (last orders at 3.30pm)
Our museum on the second floor is currently closed but we can't wait to welcome you for the reopening of Tate Hall in September 2025.
Christmas and New Year opening times
Please note The Waterhouse Café will close after breakfast service on Thursday 19 December.
The VG&M will open on Friday 20 December and then will be closed over the Christmas period, reopening on Tuesday 2 January, 2025.
Admission
Admission to all galleries, exhibitions and most activities is free.
On arrival
For the safety and comfort of our guests, all backpacks and bags are subject to inspection prior to entry. Guests with large bags will be asked to leave them in our designated cloakroom. Lockers are available free of charge.
Payment on campus
Please be aware that in our shop and cafe we are now operating a cashless system. We accept credit cards, debit cards or mobile payments.
