Student Partner Hope introduces an original time chart showing how Stapledon mapped the future of humanity across billions of years, offering a glimpse into the creative process behind one of sci-fi’s most ambitious works.  Discover how Stapledon’s pioneering innovations paved the way for authors and audiences alike, to reimagine sci-fi, and how sci-fi continues to influence the way we imagine technological change, human relationships, and our place in the world. Discover how one writer imagined the deep future — and changed science fiction forever.

The time chart is preserved within the University of Liverpool’s renowned science-fiction archive, the largest catalogued sci-fi collection in Europe.
