Green Libraries Week (Monday, October 27 to Sunday, November 2) is an annual celebration that focuses on sustainability and climate change initiatives within libraries across the UK.

As Creatives Workshops:
'Regeneration Generation'
Times - 11:30am, 1pm & 2pm
Step into the spotlight with ‘As Creatives’ as they present their interactive theatre workshop: The Regeneration Generation – Saving Planet Earth!
Opening with an interactive exploration of the unique and fragile nature of Planet Earth, what climate change is, what it does and where it comes from, you will then take part in fun drama-based activities seeking everyday, local solutions to a global problem. We will explore ‘Regeneration at Home’ – what can we do at home to help save Planet Earth? ‘Regeneration Journeys’ – how can the way we travel help save Planet Earth?
Crafts
Times - 11am-3pm, drop in.
- Make your own Gnome Home from recycled books
- Make a mini origami book to write down all your green ideas.
- Make bookmarks from recycled books
All events are free and no booking is required.
