Calling all sketchers! Join us for a free drawing session, open to anyone who loves to draw or would like to give it a try. All ages and backgrounds are welcome.

Paper, pencils and clipboards are all supplied for free or you can bring your own paper, sketchbook and drawing tools.

This is a relaxed, informal and sociable gathering in the beautiful Waterhouse café with free tea, coffee and water provided. Don't worry if you're coming alone, you'll soon be chatting to friendly fellow-sketchers.

You will mainly draw each other, taking turns to sit for 15 minutes to have our portrait drawn by the rest of the group. Being drawn is entirely voluntary though and you can simply sketch if you like. If drawing people isn't your thing, you could wander around the glorious VG&M and sketch its features, art and artefacts. At the end of the session, we'll have the opportunity to look at each other's drawings but there's no pressure to share.

Please note, the café will not be open so feel free to bring your own food.

There's no need to book, register or pay. Just turn up and join in.
